"Having a
conscious knowledge of their soul life in the spirit world and a history
of physical existences on planets gives people a stronger sense of
direction and energy for life."
Michael Newton
Journey of Souls |
THE STEPS:
You will be in a safe, comfortable
environment either at my office or at the location of your choice. We
begin with an overview of your life and the significant people and events
therein. After guiding you through a personalized hypnotic induction,
I will continue to deepen your relaxation by taking you on a long
visualization and progressive relaxation journey. Later, we will access
current life memories (age regression), and step into your most recent
past life or the life your subconsious mind leads you to. After a brief time spent there, we continue on through the
death in that life and into the life between lives spirit state.
ARE YOU WONDERING WHAT IT WILL
BE LIKE?
In one word,
amazing! The spirit world is a place of
peace and compassion. Without the heavy shell of ego and some of the petty
emotions we take so seriously here on Earth, experiences, memories and
communication flow in an unbroken, honest manner. Meeting with your guide,
rejoining your soul group, going to the Council, exploring life selection
-- all of these are deeply personal experiences. Clients consistently
report that finding their place both in the physical world and in the
eternal spirit world is the most significant work they have done.
Please be aware that your individual
session will probably not resemble the structure found in Dr. Newton’s
excellent books. His work is a composite of over 7,000 cases over a thirty
year period. Just like individuals, no one person’s session is going to be
like any other.
YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS!
The spirit world is a very dynamic, active, experience. It helps to do the
homework I recommend. Create your
Cast of Characters
along with a list of important life questions. Be sure to read the section
about Preparing for a Life Between Lives
(Spiritual Regression) session. Here are some fundamental questions
and concepts that I do my best to get covered with all clients:
-
Your spiritual or soul name, your
soul's qualities and the color of your soul energy
-
Names of guides and teachers
-
Connection with your soul group,
learning why you are together and whether you know them in your current
life
-
Connection with any possible
specialty group
-
Who current family members are in
your soul life
-
Why you are here
-
Why you chose this time, place and
body

"Catherina
led me into one of the most amazing journeys I have ever taken, and
I've taken a lot of journeys. The information I received has had a
profoundly positive effect on my current life. I received many
surprising answers to my questions and was shown the larger picture
of my life. I highly recommend working with Catherina if you are
looking to tap into your soul's wisdom."

LENGTH OF A LIFE BETWEEN LIVES
SESSION
On average, an LBL session is three to four hours in length and sometimes
longer. This estimate does not include an initial past life regression
session (scheduled separately).
WORRIED THAT YOU MIGHT NOT BE
RECEPTIVE TO HYPNOSIS?
All hypnosis is
selfhypnosis and most people are able to let themselves
hypnotize, but just to make sure, I usually require that you have at least
one regression/past life regression session first. During this session we
also fill out intake forms, get to know one another and conduct some
simple hypnotic suggestibility tests that will tell me how you best
function in a relaxed state of mind. This session may be scheduled with me
or with a qualified past life regression hypnotherapist in your area. If
you do see another therapist I ask that you give your consent for me to
speak with that person before your LBL session. You can read more about
this in the section about
Preparing for a Life
Between Lives (Spiritual Regression) session.
Relaxation and a calm, focused mind is essential for a rewarding
regression or Life Between Lives session. Letting go of preconceptions,
expectations and previous experiences or knowledge will allow you to have
a genuine experience. In fact, the ability to let go and simply be with
and in the experience is a hallmark of a significant LBL or regression
session.
Your analytical, logical, "left-brain"
mind does an amazing job of serving you in day to day life but will only
slow down your experience during a session. In more extreme cases, it can
actually prevent you from having a regression or LBL experience. You will
have plenty of time for analysis after the session. If you are an
analytical individual or are currently experiencing much stress in your
life I highly recommend a daily practice of relaxation, visualization and
stress reduction. If you would like some assistance I am available to speak with you regarding
your own unique situation or concerns.

hypnosis/trance below.

WHAT IS TRANCE?
by Michael Newton, PhD
Trance is a
natural state of
consciousness during which the mind becomes less linear and
analytical than in the waking state, entering into what might be
called "passive attention". If you have ever become so immersed in a
television program that you lost track of time or didn't hear your
name when it was called, you are familiar with trance. If you've ever
driven an automobile for an extended period, sitting passively behind
the steering wheel for hours at a time and later remembered little of
what happened, you have been in trance.
During trance the mind is
inwardly focused and only passively attentive to the outer
environment. Further, it is much more receptive to suggestion than
usual; within certain boundaries one becomes less critical of incoming
information. It should be mentioned, however, that a person does not
act in a manner contrary to their own deeply held values.
Occasionally, people harbor misconceptions about hypnosis and trance
because movies and science fiction thrillers sometimes depict hypnosis
as a means by which an unscrupulous person can achieve control over
another. That simply is Hollywood drama and not reality. Hypnosis is
not something that another person does to you without your
cooperation; if you truly do not want to be hypnotized no one can
impose the trance state upon you against your will. Our mind is ever
vigilant - even in trance - to protect us from perceived danger.
The open receptivity of
mind that accompanies trance can be effectively channeled to promote
positive and wanted change within individuals. This is the aim of
hypnotherapy - to utilize the mind's capacity to "dream a different
dream" with such passion and conviction that meaningful and lasting
change becomes possible within those who earnestly seek to grow and
modify their behavior or outlook. Hypnosis can be effectively utilized
to eliminate unwanted habits, to overcome fears and phobias, to
improve self-confidence, to remember past trauma while developing more
effective strategies in coping with the lingering aftermath, and to
instill healing imagery. It has been applied at times with dramatic
results; for example hypnotherapy has been used as a substitute for
anesthesia during surgery or to reduce the size of tumors in cancer
patients.
A special application of
hypnosis, called Hypnotic Regression, has been helpful in assisting
individuals to recover memories locked within the mind that are
difficult or impossible to specifically recall during waking
consciousness and yet still influence behavior, feelings, and outlook
today. Regression can be likened to a type of "psychological
archaeology" that can transport a person into deep trance and then to
times past for the purposes of self-discovery, transformation and
meaningful behavioral/emotional/psychological change in areas that
positively effect people in their present, daily lives.
Hypnotic Regression may be
applied to cut vertically through time or horizontally through "layers
of consciousness." While in hypnotic trance, many individuals are able
to access a deeper, more complete understanding of themselves and
their potentials than is typical of the ordinary waking state. For
lack of a precise vocabulary, it is as if one shifts from the
psychological to a spiritual dimension of being. Spirituality in this
sense is not to be confused with religious belief or dogma; "spirit"
is an energetic essence that exists within us all. From the accounts
of those who have encountered Past Life Regression, our spirit is that
part of us that transcends time and links us to the Divine. Our human
form is reported to drape an awareness that has existed in other
bodies and, upon the death of the physical body, will leave to assume
other forms. Contained within our spirit are the memories and
awareness of all we have been and all who we are.
Hypnotic Regression
permits access to memories that are not limited to the brief span of
time that consciousness has occupied our physical body. These
Spiritual Self memories include remembrance of past lives lived and of
the experiences and lessons accrued in what has been termed
"Between-Life" states. Through hypnosis it is possible to consciously
realize that we are spiritual beings occupying human form, not human
beings striving to be spiritual.
